  • Caregiver supports feeding through tubes using methods like bolus or continuous drip, including preparing formula and monitoring tube placement.

  • Caregiver prepares and administers prescribed injections (e.g., insulin), including site preparation and necessary pre-injection testing.

  • Caregiver assists with setting up, performing, and maintaining in-home dialysis treatments, including monitoring and cleaning equipment.

  • Caregiver performs guided joint and limb exercises to maintain flexibility and prevent stiffness in clients with limited mobility.

  • Caregiver administers oxygen, nebulizers, or mechanical aids and manages airway devices to support clients with breathing difficulties.

  • Caregiver turns and repositions the client, applies treatments, and uses pressure-relieving devices to prevent or treat pressure sores.

  • Assistance may include a combination of digital stimulation, manual removal of stool from the rectum, insertion of a suppository, or an enema.

  • Caregiver performs oral or tracheal suctioning and maintains tracheostomy equipment to keep the airway clear of mucus and secretions.

  • Caregiver helps manage ventilator equipment, including setup, adjustments, and maintenance for clients requiring respiratory support.

  • Caregiver assists with cleaning, dressing, and monitoring wounds under medical supervision to support healing and prevent infection.
